Niraguna Balik Satsang Mandal (India) was established in 1949 with the primary objective of promoting the practice of 'Naam' or Bhakti, aiming to create centers where true seekers can find a supportive environment for worshiping the Divine and spreading these ideals to the wider world. 'Naam' is believed to be the sole antidote for all afflictions, offering a path to a healthy and joyful life for individuals and society. Nij Thanw (Mera Pavitra Sthaan) has established centers across Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Pune, and Mumbai, providing spaces for individuals to connect with the sacred and embrace the path of spiritual growth.
Dadaji Chellaramji's Ashram - The spiritual abode for people is situated on the main Kalka-Shimla Road, two kilometers from Solan, on the Kalka side. Established in 1949, it operates under the auspices of the Niraguna Balik Satsang Mandal (India), a religious, charitable, and cultural society. The Ashram, located at an elevation of 5,000 ft above sea level, offers captivating views of the evergreen mountains and valleys. It is open to visitors from April 15th to September 15th every year. Additionally, the Ashram serves as a place for those who wish to worship the Almighty through service, as serving fellow beings brings us closer to the Divine. Our vision is to instill these values in everyone who chooses to follow this path of peace and humanity.
The Ashram aims to combine traditional and modern concepts. It upholds the significance of serene surroundings, the beauty of nature, a non-family life, simple living, and individual abhyas (practice). Simultaneously, it serves as a vibrant hub of active service, generating and spreading the rays of 'Naam' through angelic souls who embody the teachings of the Holy Master in thoughts, words, and deeds.
The Ashram embraces Dadaji's unique teaching that every religion is a path to reach the Almighty, providing solace to humanity as a whole and saintly souls in particular. As Dadaji said, the Ashram is a place of worship, where one sits in prayer and connects with the Lord. We have imbued the same spirit in our temples in Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune, inviting devotees to find peace through our Kirtans and Satsangs.
The Ashram also serves as a refuge for those who dedicate their lives to the service of the Divine, following the principle of Aap Japo Avara Nam Japavo (chanting the Divine Name). It offers a sacred space for those seeking tranquility and holiness during their final days. Throughout the year, the Ashram hosts humble individuals who also visit different places in the country for Kirtans and even internationally, mainly from October to April.
