Click HereOn her 90th birthday, we remember Didi Radhika Devi Ji. She touched many lives and encouraged both the young and the old to do kirtan. Haresh Bhau, who is now the trustee of Niraguna Balik Satsang Mandal, was first encouraged by Radhika Didi to take the stage and sing. And today, Bhau, in turn, encourages everyone, passing on the virtue of naam. Didi would sit outside the mandir after Asa Di Vaar and gently encourage everyone to do any seva they could, instead of retreating to their rooms. She was an inspiration — and she still is. A testament to that is the love with which so many people from various branches of Nij Thanw, and even the sakhis of Solan, gather to celebrate her birthday today. “Parvaan gani seyi eho aaye, safal tina ke kaama.”

Click HereWith immense joy and devotion, we celebrated Haresh Bhau's Birthday, a day filled with divine blessings, spiritual energy, and heartfelt devotion. The occasion was marked by a soulful evening of Kirtan and Bhajans, where multiple groups came together to offer their musical tributes in reverence to their Guru. The atmosphere was filled with melodious hymns and sacred chants, uplifting the spirits of everyone present. Devotees from different groups performed soul-stirring bhajans, each expressing their love and gratitude for Bhau. The rhythmic beats of the tabla, the soothing sounds of harmonium, and the collective voices of devotees created a divine ambiance, filling hearts with peace and devotion. The event served as a reminder of Bhau's teachings of love, unity, and devotion, bringing the Sangat (community) together in prayer and celebration. As the kirtan echoed through the gathering, the presence of Bhau's divine grace was deeply felt by all. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the performers and devotees who made this celebration truly special.

Click HereNij Thanw celebrated the 75th Maha Kirtan Yagyya this year in Delhi, led by Shri Haresh Chellaramji. To mark this milestone, here's a look at how it all began. The first Maha Kirtan Yagyya was celebrated in 1948 in Delhi by Pujya Dada Chellaramji. Dadaji honored Guru Nanak Sahib’s Birthday and Diwali for one month, starting from one Pooranmashi before the Kartik Pooranmashi (Guru Nanak Sahib’s Birthday). For 30 days, kirtan and katha were conducted daily, both morning and evening. Dadaji gave this event the sacred name ‘Maha Kirtan Yagyya.’ Dadaji rotated this Yagyya between Delhi, Mumbai, and Calcutta. In Mumbai, the Yagyya was organized for 40 days to also cover Pune for ten days. Pujya Dadaji said, “The Annual Maha Kirtan Yagyya is the most important service that our association renders to humanity. It comprises a concentrated effort by close workers of all the Circles, who meet at one place to join their heads and hands in a humble attempt at putting in action the Great percept ‘aap japao avarah nam japavao’”. This was the motto of Guru Nanak Devji and the same has been followed by Pujya Dadaji. Dadaji wrote, “Maha Kirtan Yagyya is a way to go out from within the four walls, to meet with open arms, the innumerable sons and daughters of God, our dear and sweet brother and sisters living far away – to bring them closer and still closer to each other tied with the Thread of Love for the Common Parent. It is just an effort to go out to the vast afflicted humanity to embalm their lacerated hearts with the soothing Music of Nam. And, dear soul, it is also an attempt at creating an atmosphere and conditions conducive for the Suhagans – the Blessed Ones, to go about in thousands and lakhs singing unto thy Beloved rendering this or an Abode of the Lord Manifested. The Message of the Masters shall be conveyed to the nook and corner of the universe and every year’s Yagyya is just a humble yet forward step in that direction.” After explaining the depth of Maha Kirtan Yagyya, Dadaji wrote, “Will you give us your helping hand? If yes, pray for us. Bless us. Send your good wishes and kind thoughts”. The 25th landmark Maha Kirtan Yagyya was led by Kamla Didi, and the 50th by Radhika Didi in Delhi. You can explore these landmark events through the photos below. Through the good grace of our Guru and Sangat, we have completed 75 years today!
